Harvest Festival is a celebration of farmers, whose aim is to give thanks for the harvested crops. It is also the agricultural season’s closing ceremony. Tradition dictates that each year the host of the festival is a different part of the municipality. The most important elements of these celebrations is the holy mass, march of the procession and the competition for the most beautiful wreath and chants. In our municipality the harvest festival takes place in late August and September.
