Ecomuseum „Three cultures” is a 13-kilometers’ path of history and nature, on which one can visit the Jewish graveyard, the ruins of a synagogue, the old Jewish school, Orthodox churchyard, and the Greek-Catholic cemetery, old Boyko cottages called chyże, neo-gothic church of Saint Stanisław the Bishop, the movie set for the film “Mr Wołodyjowski”, and a few viewing points with the information signs about the Bieszczady fauna and flora.

Historical origins of Lutowiska date back to 1580. For centuries, Ukrainians, Jews and Poles lived here in peace, creating a rich, multicultural community. Tragic events of the World War II and the following years made this world disappear forever.

The idea of the Ecomuseum “Three Cultures” derives from the cultural heritage of the now non-existant community. It also uses the unique natural resources of the region. Both of these elements are the basis for active work of current residents towards building the social forms of protection of these assets, and the economic and educational development.
